The partial mid-semester break comes after Ghana’s Education Service (GES) in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh said it has postponed the school reopening date for the first-year Senior High School students.

According to GES, the 4th batch of the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) beneficiaries will report to school on Tuesday, March 18, 2021, and not 10th March 2021 as indicated on the school placement enrollment form.

This it stated will enable the SHS 1 students to have ample time to prepare for teaching and learning and also for Management of various Senior High Schools (SHSs) to prepare to welcome the first-year students.

Academic activities for this academic year, it said will commence fully on Monday, March 22, 2021, for the Form 1 Senior High School (SHS) students.
