Jimmie Johnson In-Laws: What Happened To Them?

The father-in-law and mother-in-law of seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson were found dead Monday in a suspected murder-suicide.

According to Muskogee, Oklahoma, police, 69-year-old Jack Janway, 68-year-old Terry Janway, and 11-year-old Dalton Janway were found shot after a disturbance call to the Janways’ residence Monday evening. Dalton Janway is Janways’ grandson and the nephew of Jimmie Johnson and his wife Chandra.

Police believe that Chandra’s mother Terry was the shooter.

The deaths of Johnson’s wife Chandra Janway’s parents, Jack and Terry Janway, and nephew Dalton Janway are currently being investigated as a murder-suicide.

According to a Muskogee Police report obtained by In Touch, Jack, 69, Terry, 68, and Dalton were found dead shortly after 9 ​p.m. Officials arrived at the scene after they received a 911 call from a woman who claimed “there was a disturbance and someone had a gun” before she hung up.

While it’s not clear who had the gun, police ​allege that Terry is considered the suspect. A possible motive is currently unknown and the case is under investigation, while it is also not known who made the 911 call.

Authorities found a body “laying in the hallway inside the front door” and “heard another gunshot from further inside the house” when they arrived at the scene.

Upon their arrival, the cops searched the home and found two more dead bodies. All three are believed to have died from gunshot wounds.
