UOFT Email : How to  to Access UTmail+ Portal

https://mail.utoronto.ca is University of Toronto’s Graduate and Undergraduate Email Portal. Students uses the UTmail+ to communicate with their Professors and receives Announcements on academic calendar, Fee payment, Examinations and deadlines.

The UOFT Email provides students with access to the latest Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, OneNote, and 1 TB of OneDrive file storage space.

The UOFT Email is only active while a student is enrolled in classes at the University. Learn how to activate and log into your UToronto email account using a mobile device or a desktop computer in the sections that follow.

How to activate your UTORid

Your UTORid (with password) is your key to a number of services:

To activate your your UTORid’

  1. In a new browser tab, Go to utorid.utoronto.ca 
  2. Click on the Activate link
  3. Enter your JOINid or UTORid
  4. Enter your Secret Activation Key
  5. Click on the Validate button to to activate your UTORid and UTmail+
  6. Once you create your UTmail+ account, it will replace the current email address you have in the U of T record system, and all new university communications will automatically be sent to your new U of T email address.

How to log into uoft webmail

  1. Students can access their email inbox by logging into https://mail.utoronto.ca
  2. You will be directed to the UOFT Email Portal
  3. Sign in with UTORid / JOINid and associated password
  4. Click on the Login button to access your student email account

How to reset uoft webmail Password

If you have forgotten your UTORid password, please follow the guide below:

  1. Navigate to https://mail.utoronto.ca
  2. You will be directed to the UOFT Email Portal
  3. Click on the forgotten password
  4. Select the UTORid Forgotten Password button
  5. Select UTORid Forgotten password tool
  6. Please enter your UTORid below
  7. Click on the Next button and follow the screen instruction
