NTC after releasing the results of candidates who sat for the May 2021 examination has said candidates who failed or are not satisfied with the GTLE results can request for remarking of the teacher licensure examination script.
A staff of the National Teaching Council (NTC) in an exclusive interview with EducationWeb.com.gh said a fixed amount of GH₵600 will be paid by any candidate who wishes for his or her examination scripts to be remarked.
How to apply for teacher licensure examination script remarking
The Management of the National Teaching Council (NTC) as part of processes to ensure a successful review of the licensure examination script has urged candidates to pay the remarking fee to NTC account and to do the following;
1. Write an official letter to the National Teaching Council (NTC) requesting for remarking of scripts
2. Candidates must state categorically the subject areas he/she wants to be remarked
3. Candidates must provide necessary documents including examination centre, NTC Index number, printed copy of the results.
The Registrar of the Council, Dr Christian Addai Poku has said the examination answer booklet or script will be marked in the presence of the applicant in accordance with the May 2021 licensure examination marking scheme.
He also indicated representatives of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG) and other third parties interested in the subject matter will be available to monitor the remarking process.
