How to register your KNUST Semester courses online

Students must register for courses electronically each semester and submit a copy of their registration to their Head of Department for approval. When you register for a semester course, you gain the right to sit for assessments in that course. You are ineligible to take the end-of-semester tests for that subject if you don’t register.

Steps to register for courses for the semester in KNUST


Follow the steps below to register for your courses for a specific semester

  1. Pay your Academic fees for the Academic Year
  2. Go to the KNUST Student Portal or through the KNUST AIM App
  3. Log in with your KNUST Student Credentials
  4. At the KNUST Student Portal Dashboard, Click on the Course registration icon
  5. You will be presented with courses to register for the semester
  6. Select and Register your compulsory and electives courses if present
  7. Save Registration after selecting courses
  8. Follow the next below on how to print your registration slip

How to Print KNUST Course Registration Slip

To print your KNUST Semester course registration slip,

  1. On the KNUST Student Portal or the AIMP App, Download the PDF Version of the Registration slip
  2. Send it to the nearest printing shops on Campus (Queens Hall Market, Republic Hall Market, or Ayeduase Gate)
  3. Print the document, add your signature, and send it to your department office.
  4. In conclusion, verify whether your HOD has approved the registration slip and preserve a copy.
