How to check Matric Results online

• Open a new browser
• Navigate to the Department of Basic Education (DBE) website at https://www.education.gov.za/
• You will be directed to the Matric Results Checking Portal
• Click on the button for examination results
• Click on the NSC exam results 
• Enter your examination number 
• More personal information may be required
• Click the search button 
• Your Matric results should appear will be displayed

How to print Matric Results online

1. Download your Matric Results
2. Copy it unto a pendrive
3. Send it to the nearest Printing shop
4. Request for a print out
5. You will be given a hard of your Matric results.

How to get Matric Results Via SMS

1.Text your examination number to 35658.

2. You will be charged R1.50

2. You will receive your Matric results to via SMS

How to Check your Matric Results Via USSD

• Turn on your mobile Phone
• Dial *120*45856#
• enter your exam number
• Follow the screen instructions to get your matric results.

View your results in the newspaper

You can find your Matric results in a newspaper.

1. Buy a newspaper after the release of Matric Result
2. Open the Newspaper and check for your examination index and results

Receive your statement of results at school

Students can get their matric results from the school where they took the exams.

To check your matric results using the Matricmate app

1. Turn on your mobile Phone
2. Download the MatricsMate App from from Google Playstore and App stores.
3. Install the App
4. Open the MatricsMate App.
5. Enter the following details: ID number. Exam number.
6. View your results.
