Blackboard is the Learning Management System (LMS) used by Syracuse University to house course materials and deliver online classes. You can check your grades, syllabus, assignments due, and communicate with your instructors.

How to Log into blackboard Syracuse

To log into the Syracuse University Blackboard;

  1. To log into Blackboard, visit https://blackboard.syr.edu; 
  2. Click SU NetID Login button
  3. This will take you to the blackboard Syracuse Portal Login page.
  4. Use your SU NetID credentials to log in 

Accessing Your Course in blackboard Syracuse

  1. To log into Blackboard, visit the visit https://blackboard.syr.edu; 
  2. This will take you to the Syracuse blackboard Portal Login page.
  3. Use your SU NetID credentials to log in 
  4. Click on the ‘Courses’ link at the upper right-side corner of the screen to view all of your classes 
  5. Click on the course link that appears under ‘My Courses’ (e.g., ENC1101-2203-0110) 
  6. Begin exploring the content of your course by utilizing the menu bar on the left side of your screen 
  7. Start by reviewing the syllabus and then continue by clicking on the course content

How to log into Syracuse University email

To log into SU Email Portal

  1. Go to http://sumail.syr.edu/?
  2. This will take you to the Syracuse Student email Login page.
  3. Use your SU NetID credentials to log in
