President Akufo-Addo will today January 3 address Ghana on measures taken to slow the deadly coronavirus and also announce the outcome of his meeting with the Cabinet on 2021 school reopening, Jubilee House has said.
Nana Akufo-Addo in his 21st televised address to the nation is expected to announce the exact date students will return back to school after he directed for the closure of all schools on March 14, 2020.
Prior to school reopening announcement, a stakeholder in the education sector has told Educationweb.com.gh that schools will reopen on mid-January, probably 19th of this month 2021 for all students.
According to the Health Service, Ghana has as of the time writing this post recorded 55,064 coronavirus cases with 53,828 recoveries and 3335 sudden deaths. The nation’s new cases are 134 with 901 active cases.
