A 13th and special congregation ceremony will be organised on Saturday, July 24, 2021, for all 2021 graduands in the UPSA Law School and School of Graduate Studies of the University of Professional Studies, UPSA has announced.
The University in a blog post sighted EducationWeb.com.gh said an honorary doctorate degree, as well as award degree certificates, will be awarded to persons who completed their programmes of study in the 2020/21 academic year.
Registration for the Congregation:
Students who successfully completed their programmes of study in July 2021 are to pay the graduation fee at any branch of Access Bank Ltd and log on to https://www.interpayafrica.com/upsa/student to disburse the payment.
Graduands according to UPSA are to follow the link upsa.edu.gh/graduation on your USIS student’s portal to complete the process of registration online. The registration period will end on Thursday, 22nd July 2021.
All Graduands are required to pay a non-refundable fee of GH¢350.00 to cover the cost of the congregation brochure, the printing of certificates, hiring of academic gowns and administrative charges.

Collection and Return of the Academic Gown:
Students have been urged to use their proof of registration and the interpay disbursement print-out to collect the gown from Room 403, Third Floor, Students’ Centre starting from Tuesday, 20th July 2021.
The deadline for the collection of the gown is 5.00 p.m. on Friday, July 23. Graduands are required to return their academic gowns latest by 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27 Failure to do so will attract a penalty of GH¢50.00 per day.
Compulsory rehearsal will be held for those to be presented at the UPSA Main Auditorium on Friday, 23rd July 2021 at 2.00 p.m.
Those to be presented will be expected to be seated at the Auditorium by 8.00 a.m. on Saturday, 24th July 2021 in the appropriate academic gown preferably worn over a suit/jacket with UPSA necktie or UPSA scarf in the case of ladies.
Note: Graduands are to note that those who fail to attend the ceremony will equally be required to pay the same amount before they can collect their certificates.
As part of efforts to adhere to Covid and face mask-wearing protocols, the Management of the Professional Studies has arranged for only graduands to be allowed entry onto campus on the day of the congregation ceremony.
