Handing over ceremony for 2021 NUGS executives postponed

The handing over ceremony for newly elected executives of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) scheduled for Thursday, June 24, 2021, has been postponed, the leadership of the Union announced Wednesday noon.

NUGS in a communiqué signed by its Press and Information Secretary and sighted by EducationWeb.com.gh said the adjournment of this year’s handing over event is due to some circumstances beyond the Union control.

“We are sorry to inform you that the handing over ceremony which was scheduled on the 24th June 2021 has been postponed. This new development is due to some circumstances beyond our control,” the Union stated.

The new date for the transition ceremony and awards night, the Students Union in the press release indicated is June 29, 2021, at the University of Ghana – Cedi Conference Centre at 4:00 pm and is strictly by invitation.
