The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) Monday, August 2, 2021, will launch the distribution of tablets and i7 laptops with Wi-Fi Internet connectivity to teachers and students in private schools across the country

A spokesman for the private school council, Mr Samuel Nyamkye in an exclusive interview with EducationWeb.com.gh said the launch will happen on August 2, 2021, at Janet Educational Complex in the Ashanti Region.
“We are launching the i7 laptops, tablets for private school teachers and students across the country tomorrow in the Ashanti region, distribution of the teaching and learning materials will commence after the launch,” he stated.
According to Mr Nyamekye, the project is aimed at distributing 200,000 state of the art brand new i7 laptops with routers to private schools teachers across the country for them to pay over 36 months.
He further said GNACOPS will also install 1 million educational tablets in classrooms for all the students in private schools in Ghana to connect to global education platforms such as CISCO, Facebook, Google Academy.
“This is aimed at sharing 200,000 Laptops with routers to the teachers for them to pay over 36 months and 1 million educational tablets for all the students to connect to global education platforms such CISCO, FaceBook,” he added.
