This comes after the Executive Director of Africa Education Watch, Mr Kofi Asare petitioned the Council to release the withheld results of candidates not found guilty in other for them to apply for tertiary admission in 2021.

Mr Kofi Asare announcing the release of the WASSCE results on social media said: “WAEC has released my pipo’s results. Hon. Napo, you too Thank You. I am told you piled pressure on WAEC after we petitioned”.

However, it is currently unclear if the Examinations body has released all the withheld WASSCE results of candidates it discovered did not engage in examination malpractice during the conduct of the 2020 WASSCE.

The Council in a blog post sighted by Educationweb.com.gh indicated it has withheld the results of over 60,000 candidates from 122 Senior High Schools

It assured to release the 2020 withheld WASSCE results in batches once a final decision has been taken by the Management of the WAEC.
