WAEC wishes candidates success in 2021 private BECE

The Management of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has wished all candidates sitting for the 2021 edition of the private BECE from Monday, April 12, to Friday, April 16, 2020 success in the examination.

Speaking in an interview with Educationweb.com.gh, a staff of the Examinations Council said his outfit has put in place adequate measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the BECE for private examination.

“Some of the pre-examination activities undertaken include a briefing of Supervisors, Invigilators and Depot keepers and printing of question papers under tight security,” the WAEC official told Okyere Darko George.

According to the non-profit-making organization, prospective candidates will Monday, April 12 write English Language and Religious and Moral Education (R.M.E) and finish on April 16, with Social Studies (Paper 1 & 2).

The West African Examinations Council Private BECE is mainly for students who are 16 years of age and above and candidates who had sat for the normal Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) but could not pass.
