US pledges support for MoE, GES to improve Ghana's education

Ms. Stephanie Sullivan, the US Ambassador to Ghana Tuesday said her government is ready to support the country’s Education Ministries to improve and transform the nation’s economy through education.

In a courtesy visit to the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, she disclosed 150 American Peace Corps will be arriving in Ghana in September 2021 to support the nation’s development and transformation agenda.

The Ambassador also commended the Government of Ghana (GoG) for the effort it is making towards poverty reduction through education.

Dr. Yaw Adutwum reacting to Ms. Stephanie Sullivan’s promise lauded the United States government for its unflinching support to Ghana over the years which had brought much development to the country.
