UG announces date to resume second semester for level 200, 300’s

The University of Ghana, Legon (UG) after the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) suspended its strike action has said it will from mid-September 2021 resume second semester for level 200 and 300 students.

UG in a statement copied to EducationWeb.com.gh said the level 200 and 300 students will report to school on September 16, 2021, but teaching activities will commence on September 20, 2021, for the two levels.

“The University of Ghana following the suspension of UTAG strike has scheduled for second-semester examinations for level 100 and 400 students will take place from August 25, 2021, to September 9, 2021,” the UG Authorities said.

Level 100 and 400 students have been urged to browse the online daily timetable (https://sts.ug.edu.gh/timetable) for details on onsite examinations or consult their Examiners for offsite examinations arrangements.

“Level 200 and 300 students are advised to check the University website for the details of the revised calendar of the second-semester at https://www.ug.edu,gh/academics/calendar,” the university added in the statement.
