The commission is a result of a $10 million investment made by Tullow in 2018 to build Senior High School infrastructure over 5 years to support the government’s policy of providing free quality Senior High School education.

This includes the Nsein Senior High School dormitory, part of the numerous CSR projects undertaken by Tullow Ghana Limited worthy of commendation.

Speaking as Guest of Honour at the colourful commissioning, the Minister for Energy, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh encouraged Tullow to adopt the Nsein SHS and transform it into a model school for STEM.

NAPO also asked Tullow Ghana to consider investing more in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector particularly, the oil and gas sector as part of this country’s local content agenda.
