NTC make changes to Sept teacher licensure examination centre

The National Teaching Council (NTC) following the postponement of the administration of the September 2021 Ghana teacher licensure examination (GTLE) has made changes to one of the teacher licensure examination centres.
Speaking to EducationWeb.com.gh in an exclusive interview on Wednesday, an official of NTC said Koforidua Asokore SDA College of Education Centre has been moved to Presbyterian Women College of Education (PWCE), Aburi.
“The Koforidua Asokore SDA College of Education Centre has been moved to Presbyterian Women College of Education (PWCE), Aburi but all other teacher licensure examination centres remain the same,” he told George.
He said the September teacher licensure test originally scheduled for September 23 to 24, 2021, has been postponed to October 23 to 24, 2021 to enable National Teaching Council (NTC) to complete work on the Test Prep Portal.
The Test Prep Portal, the NTC staff indicated will enable graduate teachers preparing to sit for the national examination practice adequately with the past questions upload on the portal before the start of the final test.
Principals for various GTLE centres have been urged to officially apply for a police escort in the administration of the National teacher licensure examination to ensure law and order during the examination period in October.
According to the new September teacher licensure timetable, candidates on Saturday, October 23, 2021, will sit for Literacy and Essential Professional Skills and Numeracy on Sunday, October 24, 2021, from 9:00 to 11:00 Am each day.

Candidates who will be participating in the impending examination have been advised to adhere to come along with their nose masks. Those without face masks NTC said will not be allowed entry into the examination centre.
