His comment comes after the management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) Friday told students the school placements have been released but the computerized placement portal will be live from Saturday, March 26, 2022.

About 555,353 students out of the 571,892 candidates who sat for the 2021 BECE administered by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) qualified to get school placement and benefit from the Free SHS policy.

The Ministry of Education Friday in a statement said a total of 367,811 students have automatically been placed in one of their preferred choices. About 187,542 the press release indicated will be doing self-placement from Saturday.

  12. We are very tired of your re-scheduling of the school placement. This shows how bad the country is. If you can tell us that about 555, 353 candidates got placed, why can’t we check it?

  13. I don’t know why the Ministry is doing this to parents. You all know that life is hard these days. Keeping them in suspense will not help them. They need to prepare adequately. The less endowed will have to go borrowing. You gave reporting date as 4th April 2022. How are going to buy stuff for their children?
