Ghana’s Education Ministry (MoE) led by Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has been urged to speed the process of procuring primary schools textbooks of the new curriculum to facilitators after two years of its implementation.
Rev. Dr Isaac Owusu, the Central Regional Chairman of GNAT, made the appeal last Tuesday at the 6th quadrennial delegates conference of the Association in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem municipality.
Speaking at the conference, Dr Isaac Owusu said it was unfortunate that two years after introducing the new curriculum, teachers were yet to be given the prescribed textbooks to help teaching and learning.
The 6th quadrennial delegates conference was on the theme: “GNAT at 90: Sustaining the gains of our union in KEEA for the 21st century”.
