Private school teachers to get new laptops – GNACOPS hints

The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) has disclosed to distribute a state of the art brand new laptops to pre-tertiary private school teachers in the country to improve teaching and learning in classrooms.

GNACOPS announced this in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh inviting all stakeholders, proprietors, Headteachers and Administrators to a meeting scheduled for April 22 to discuss private school teachers licensing.

The private schools council said distribution of laptops to private school teachers are among topics to be discussed at the forthcoming meeting.

According to the private schools council, the stakeholders meeting will take place at Kwabenya Community Secondary School, at 9:00 am on April 22.

Meanwhile, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said the Government of Ghana (GoG) this year will provide 280,000 state of the art brand new laptops to members of the GNAT, NAGRAT and CCT.

“I am happy to announce the government is facilitating 280,000 laptops to members of the GNAT, NAGRAT and CCT,” Akufo-Addo stated in this year’s State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Tuesday, March 9 in Parliament.
