GNACOPS Monday met their international partners to discuss the specifications and manufacturing details of the soon-to-be procured private school teachers laptops to strengthen Digital Literacy Education in Ghana.
Speaking at the meeting, the National Executive Director of GNACOPS, Mr. Kwasi Gyetuah said all private school teachers in the shortest time will be given brand new laptops through their school owners or managers.
“The Council is working with an allied international agency from China and the United States of America, USA, that will help distribute portable and very affordable laptops to all teachers in private schools,” he stated.
According to Kwasi Gyetuah, the first consignment of 5,000 state-of-the-art brand-new HP laptops will be distributed to private school teachers who have gone through the NaCCA new curriculum reforms.
The private school teachers laptop he said is taken by GNACOPS to support and empower Private Education delivery through the digital literacy project that the council prioritizes to ensure its successful implementation.
