The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) has asked private school headmasters/headmistress across the country to apply for the tablets and laptops procured for private school students and teachers in the country

Mr Samuel Nyamekye, the Communications Director for the Council in an interview with EducationWeb.com.gh said proprietors or heads of private schools can only submit their application using this Google form link.
According to him, GNACOPS in due course will distribute 200,000 core i7 laptops and 1 million educational tablets with wifi internet connection and learning management systems to private school teachers and students in Ghana.
“These tools come with routers with WiFi connectivity that will help the Schools, Teachers and Students to be connected to the internet and surf through the internet using Google, CISCO, Facebook and other platforms,” he said.
The Private Schools Council Monday, August 2, 2021, as part of efforts to enhance education delivery launched the distribution of tablets and laptops with Wi-Fi Internet connectivity at Janet Educational Complex in the Ashanti Region.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Executive Director of the Council, Mr Enoch Kwasi Gyetuah said the project is aimed at sharing 200,000 laptops with routers to the teachers for them to pay over 36 months and 1 million tablets to students.
