25 prison inmates of the Senior Correctional Centre (SCC) who sat for the 30th edition of the Basic Education Certificate Examination passed the national examination with flying colours, the Daily Graphic has reported.
According to the newspaper, 21 out of the number after the GES released the 2020 school placement were placed into various Senior High/Technical schools across the country, with the remaining four pending placement.
Fourteen inmates out of the 25 BECE graduates are still in custody while the remaining eleven have gone on discharge and are currently in school.

In a related development, all three prison inmates of the Nsawam Medium Security Prison who sat for the 2020 edition of the November/December examination popularly known as NOV/DEC also performed outstandingly.
