N&MC assists Liberia to conduct 1st nursing online licensing exams

The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana (N&MC) has helped Liberia Board for Nursing and Midwifery to successfully conduct its first midwifery and nursing online licensing examination for health practitioners in the country.

Mr Felix Nyante, the Registrar of the N&MC in a post sighted by EducationWeb.com.gh said his outfit’s support follows the successful administration of Ghana’s online licensing examinations under that NICHE/GHA/261 project.

He said a mock examination was conducted for 343 nursing and midwifery trainees from 14 training institutions in Liberia to ensure they understand the concept and requirements of the licensing examination.

Liberia’s midwifery and nursing online licensing examination, the N&MC Registrar said will be rolled out in phases. He also shared with the candidates and invigilators what is expected of them before, during and after the examinations.

In a related development, N&MC has released the August 2021 Registered General Nursing (RGN), Registered Midwifery (RM) and Public Health Nursing (PHN) online licensing examination results.

The provisional 2021 August RGN, RM & PHN licensing examination results have been uploaded on the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana (N&MC) online portal (https://nmc.gov.gh) for candidates access.
