The Management of the National Teaching Council (NTC) says the May 7, 2021 deadline for the ongoing Teacher Portal Ghana registration to end has been extended indefinitely for all qualified in-service teachers nationwide.
The Council in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh said the extension of the Teacher Portal Ghana registration deadline comes after some relevant stakeholders petitioned NTC to extend the May 7 deadline.
According to NTC, issuance of a license to qualified in-service teachers will commence in Greater Accra Region on May 12, and later to other regions.
“Teachers are to note that registration at the TPG is the first step for qualified teachers to be issued the license. After licensing of teachers, NTC will register and issue a temporary license to non-qualified teachers”
The Teaching Council said details of the licensing in other regions shall be communicated to members of the general public in due course.
“Teachers however are encouraged to visit the https://tpg.ntc.gov.gh to register for their license,” the National Teaching Council added.
