The Management of the National Teaching Council (NTC) has released the provisional teacher licensure results of candidates who sat for the 2020 edition of the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination October last year.
The Teaching Council announcing the release of the teacher licensure results in a blogpost sighted by Educationweb.com.gh on its official website said: “Results for October 2020 GTLE has been released”.
According to NTC, 8,442 out of the 27,455 candidates failed to meet the pass mark of the examination whilst 19,013 teachers, representing 69.3% passed.
The Council in a release dated January 4 shared with Educationweb.com.gh said candidates suspected to be involved in examination malpractice will not have access to their results until further investigation.
“Candidates are to check their results from the NTC results checking portal at exam.ntc.gov.gh by using either their pins given during registration or their examination index numbers using their phone numbers”, it noted.
NTC further entreated prospective candidates to immediately print their provisional certificates after checking results.
