NTC gives new dates to issue teacher license cards in 11 Regions

The Management of the National Teaching Council (NTC) as part of efforts to ensure all teachers in the country are licensed before 2025 has announced new dates to issue teacher license cards to public teachers in eleven (11) Regions.
The nationwide teacher licensing exercise which commenced mid this year was expected to end late this year but amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus the Council has extended the registration and licensing process to next year.
A staff of the Teaching Council speaking to EducationWeb.com.gh Tuesday said his outfit as part of its plans to promote quality Education has issued and certified 128,789 licenses to government teachers in some Regions.

All qualified teachers employed before September 1, 2018, are required to log on to the National Teaching Council (NTC) Teacher Portal Ghana (TPG) via tpg.ntc.gov.gh and register. The deadline for registration has been extended.
Teachers who fail to avail themselves for the licensing and registration exercise, NTC has said shall lose their right to practise as teachers in Ghana in accordance with section 64 (I) of the Education Regulatory Bodies Act, 2020, Act 1023.
According to the Registrar of the National Teaching Council, Dr Christian Addai Poku, the license card recognised by the African Federation of Teaching Regulatory Authorities (AFTRA) can be used to teach in and outside Ghana.
When will they post graduate students who have passed their license exams?
Can nonposted teachers with license Cert log in and do the registration for the NTC license card?
