The Management of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has denied reports circulating on various social media platforms indicating 2021 recruitment of new staff into the Commission has commenced.
A staff of the National Commission speaking to EducationWeb said his outfit last ended the recruitment process in 2020 after recruiting some 240 new staff but will later announce the recruitment date for this year if the need be.
The independent, non-partisan governance institution consequently has urged members of the general public to disregard any such information about the ongoing recruitment exercise at the Commission.
“2020 recruitment of new personnel ended in September, interested Ghanaians seeking to work with the NCCE are entreated to wait for new recruitment in 2021,” the Commission for Civic Education official stated.
NCCE is an agency under the auspices of the government. NCCE is the commission responsible for the education of Ghanaians on civic matters. The commission was established by Act 452 of the Parliament of Ghana in 1993.
