NaSIA has urged the general public to report schools that are not included in the list and not accredited but claim to offer Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) and International Baccalaureate (IB) curricula for sanctions.

Schools accredited to offer CAIE and IB curricula have also been asked to ensure that they are duly licensed by NaSIA per section 98 (2&3) of the Education Regulatory Bodies Act (ERBA) 2020, (Act 1023).

The Education Regulatory Bodies Act (ERBA) 2020, (Act 1023) the National Schools Inspectorate Authority in a statement copied to EducationWeb.com.gh said requires all schools in Ghana to be licensed by NaSIA to operate.

“Members of the general public especially parents and guardians are advised to desist from patronizing the services of schools that are not accredited to offer CAIE and IB curricula in Ghana,” the Inspectorate Authority cautioned.

It similarly also warned accredited CAIE and IB curricula schools in the country to comply and license their schools with NaSIA accordingly or risk losing their accreditation to operate from their accreditation bodies.
