Speaking to Kumasi-based Luv FM monitored by EducationWeb.com.gh, Mr Dennis Kwakwa said the arrears for 3 months will duly be paid adding that the delay was amid late disbursement of funds from the Finance Ministry.

“NaBCo is doing well and I don’t think there’s anything else, apart from the fact that we have some arrears to pay this week and so the state of NABCO is normal as it has been always. We owe trainees the months of April, May and June.”

Asked when beneficiaries in other parts of the country will receive their arrears, Mr Dennis said the NABCO Management is working hand in hand with the Ministry of Finance to settle all the outstanding allowances.

The Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) was introduced by the Nana Akufo-Addo government in early 2018 to address graduate unemployment in the country with beneficiaries enjoying a stipend of Gh¢700 every month.
