
The Ministry of Health (MoH) says it will from May 16, 2022, to July 29, 2022, commence the sale of the 2022/2023 nursing training admission forms to interested applicants seeking to pursue various nursing and midwifery courses.
A staff of the Ministry today told EducationWeb applicants after the announcement of the release of the nursing training admission forms by his outfit can visit any branch of the ADB or GBC bank to purchase the nursing form.
Asked how much the 2022/2023 nursing college admission form will be sold for, the MoH official said an official price on Monday, May 16, 2022, will be communicated to members of the general public and interested applicants.
The Ministry in the 2021 academic year increased the cost of the health training institutions’ admission application codes from GH¢100.00 to GH¢200.00 but the official said he is not aware of the price for this academic year.
“All purchased vouchers are valid up to a certain period if not used. Upon payment, applicants will receive a voucher giving them a unique PIN and Serial Number,” the Health Ministry staff told EducationWeb on Tuesday.
In other news, the National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) has said the sale of the 2022/2023 admission forms or sale of the Colleges of Education admission process will end on October 31, 2022.
The admission deadline comes after PRINCOF this week announced the release of the 2022/2023 academic year admission form for WASSCE graduates seeking to pursue four years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree programme.
“The 2022/2023 Colleges of Education admission forms are out for suitably qualified candidates seeking to pursue a new four year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree programme in Colleges of Education,” PRINCOF stated.
To qualify for teacher training admission, the National Conference say applicants must have A1-C6 in three core subjects thus; English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science and three credit passes in elective subjects.
Interested applicants with SSCE certificates who had obtained A-D in three core subjects, the National Conference of Principals of the Colleges has said can also apply to be considered for the 2022/2023 teacher training admission.
