Africa Education Watch says it has nothing to do with an image circulating on some rogue WhatsApp groups with content purported to be leaked 2021 WASSCE Government questions from its Executive Director, Mr Kofi Asare.
The Education Think Tank in a communique sighted by EducationWeb.com.gh said the alleged leaked WASSCE paper circulating on various social media platforms was intercepted by the monitoring team of the Watch on Tuesday.
“Our Online Monitoring Team has intercepted the attached image circulating on some Rogue WhatsApp pages with content purported to be leaked Government 2 examination questions from one Dr Kofi Asare of Eduwatch.
Africa Education Watch wishes to state unequivocally that our Executive Director, Kofi Asare, does not deal in examination questions, and is in no way connected to the said image being circulated,” the Think Tank stated.
The Education Policy Research and Advocacy Organization have urged members of the general public and candidates sitting for the ongoing international examination to be wary of the activities of rogue website operators.
Following the conduct of the 2021 edition of the WASSCE for School, EduWatch has partnered with OXFAM to monitor the soon to end international examination administered by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
The WASSCE monitoring exercise in collaboration with non-profit-making organization (WAEC), the Director of Africa Education Watch, Mr Kofi Asare has said is to improve accountability in the Education Assessment Sector.
Since the commencement of the 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School, the Watch has been reporting with evidence, subject papers that leak before the administration of the papers.

EduWatch’s latest report is the 2021 WASSCE General Mathematics questions which it says leaked hours to the conduct of the School examination administered on Monday, September 20, 2021, to candidates in the country.
