Former Minister of Education, Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang in line with the global fight to overcome the novel virus has encouraged people to get vaccinated as she receives the first shot of the covid-19 vaccine.
The National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) 2020 Vice Presidential Candidate earlier Monday, March 8, 2021, was inoculated with the Oxford-AstraZeneca covid-19 vaccine procured by the Nana Akufo-Addo led government.
Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang in a social media post sighted by Educationweb.com.gh said “I urge everyone to responsibly observe the protocols, whether you have taken the vaccine or not.”
She added that “Together we shall triumph over this disease, as we have dealt with other issues.”
The former Education Minister was appointed in 2013 by former President and 2020 Flagbearer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama after the 2012 Ghanaian general election.
