The apology comes after Badu Nkansah publication in its History of Ghana textbook described Ewe’s as inward-looking, a situation Ghana’s former Education Minister, Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has said is unfortunate.

However, Badu Nkansah in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh indicated the limited quantity of the unpublished draft with offensive words on the market for sale is under review for necessary corrections.

According to them, it is not a deliberate attempt to berate such huge section of the society adding that “we wish to unreservedly apologise for the slip”

“How those few copies found their way to the market is something we are still investigating and we will make the results of our investigations public when we are done,” the authors of the History of Ghana textbook stated.

NaCCA, the Institution mandated to approve teaching and learning material for use in Pre-tertiary schools has called for the immediate removal of an unapproved book, History of Ghana textbook 3 from the Ghanaian market.
