The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) says your withheld WASSCE result would be released after a thorough investigation not longer than about 31 days into the matter that led to your delay of the result had been concluded.
It is unfortunate you may not gain admission or entry to any tertiary institution in the country this year as the result is currently blocked until the conclusion of the one-month investigation by the non-profit-making organization.
WAEC in a blog post sighted by EducationWeb.com.gh has assured it will release the withheld result once a final decision has been taken by the Management and stakeholders of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

The Council responsible for conducting the WASSCE for School has however indicated that prospective candidates who will be found guilty of examination malpractice and misconduct will have their entire WASSCE result cancelled.
If in case you are planning to opt for result upgrading, please stop as the Examination Council has described that process as fake. It Wednesday after releasing the results cautioned candidates to desist from such activity.
“The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is cautioning all stakeholders especially prospective candidates to be on the alert and not fall prey to the activities of scammers who promise to upgrade results for a fee.
Candidates are to note that all WAEC results are secured and can be authenticated. Institutions are therefore urged to always verify results presented to them to expose incidents of forgery,” WAEC stated in a blog post.

1. Purchase a result checker pin from WAEC by dialling the short code *944# on your mobile phone
2. Visit the result checking portal at https://eresults.waecgh.org
3. Enter your Index Number
4. Re-enter your Index Number to confirm it is correct.
5. Select Examination type (e.g WASSCE School)
6. Select the year of Examination (e.g 2021)
7. Enter Serial number (e.g 180000000001)
8. Enter Pin (e.g A1B2C3D4E5F9)
9. Click on the captcha
10. Click on Submit and wait for the popup window to display your results. This may take some minutes but please wait.
