Each participant will pay an amount of GH₵ 130.00 as a CCP training fee for the 5-days GNACOPS CCP training, the private education body mandated by MoE to train private school teachers for appropriate certification has said.
The National Executive Director of the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) Mr Enoch Kwasi Gyetuah disclosed the CCP training fees in an interview with Educationweb.com.gh on Monday, February 1, 2021.
According to him, the Council has arranged for a participant to pay an amount of GH₵ 130.00 but private schools with more than one participants will pay a considerable GH₵ 100.00 per head as the CCP training fee.
“Unprofessional teachers who will successfully complete the intensive training will be awarded a participatory certificate and for the professional teachers, they will register at the NTC Teacher Portal to score CPD points for licensing,” Mr Enoch Gyetuah told EducationWeb’s Okyere Darko George.
GNACOPS and the Teaching Council will jointly issue Certificate and ID Card to participants at the cost of GH₵ 20.00 each. These will serve as the basic certification for CPDs and Provisional Licence issuance by NTC
The much advertised Common Core Programme (CCP) training which would last for five days for every region is expected to commence from Wednesday, February 3, 2021, to Sunday, February 7, 2021
