GIJ directs students who paid fees late to defer programme

The Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) after a decision it is yet to communicate to students has ordered students who paid school fees after the registration deadline to defer programmes for this academic year.
The Institute in a communique sighted by Educationweb.com.gh on Tuesday said affected students are to take notice and act accordingly.
“Management of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, at its meeting held on Monday, March 22, 2021, decided that students who paid their fees after the registration deadline should defer their programme” GIJ stated.

Students of the Institute with just a week to examination on social media following the directive for them to defer programme have expressed worry describing the GIJ Management’s decision as inconsiderate.
