In his address, Professor Kwasi Amankwa urged teachers of visited schools to continue with their good works assuring them that their intervention allowance is being worked on and will be paid in due course.

The Director-General also commended management and staff of the various schools on their contributions to the development of the students as well as their performances in the WASSCE last year in spite of their many challenges.

He said amid the Covid-19, the Service could not organize the annual workshop for core subject teachers, however, master trainers have been put together to do a recording of lessons in the core subjects which will be given to schools to aid teaching and learning.

Advising the final year students, the GES official urged them to eschew in-disciplinary conduct and be diligent in their preparations towards the conduct of this year’s WASSCE for School examination scheduled for August.
