GES gives SHS students holidays to mark Easter

Ghana’s Education Service (GES) has announced for all Senior High School (SHS students) in the country to break from academic activities from April 1, 2021, to Tuesday, April 6, 2021, to mark this year’s Easter celebration.

The Service in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh indicated SHS students after the Easter holidays will resume academic activities on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, before their final vacation.

The Easter break according to the Education Service is not compulsory for boarding students and so students can stay on campus and be fed but must strictly adhere to covid-19 safety protocols and abide by the school rules.

“Final year SHS students are expected to resume for the second session of the first semester on Wednesday, April 7, 2021,” GES stated in the release.
