The Ghana Education Service (GES) is seeking financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance to recruit Basic Education graduates this year, the Minister in charge of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum said on Monday.
Dr. Adutwum in an interview with the Peace 104.3 FM monitored by Educationweb.com.gh said even though GES is not mandated to employ Basic Education graduates, however, they once a while employ them.
“The Ghana Education Service (GES) only employ Basic Education graduates when the need is, this is because such graduates did not attend College of Education, so they do that when there is a vacancy,” the Minister stated.
