Ghana’s Education Service (GES) has rendered an outright apology to the good people of Ghana for the delay in the release of the much-awaited school placement of candidates who sat for the 2020 edition of BECE.
The Director-General of GES, Prof Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa, who rendered the apology on behalf of his outfit attributed the delay of the placement to the outbreak of the novel virus that has halted activities of the service.
He speaking on the Accra-based UTV Mpu ne Mpu show monitored by Educationweb.com.gh urged candidates and members of the general public to exercise patience and be calm as they release the placement on Sunday.
“We urge parents and candidates to be calm as we work towards the release of the difficulty-free SHS placement, they should expect the delayed school placements on Sunday, February 28,” He told the host of Mpu ne Mpu show.
According to him, the placement checker card for checking the Senior High School (SHS) placement will be out on Friday, February 26, 2021, and can be purchased at any of the CSSPS websites i.e cssps.org and cssps.gov.gh.
The placement checker or eVoucher card can be used an unlimited number of times by a single candidate to check his or her school placement status.
