4th batch of Free SHS students report to school today

The 4th batch of Free SHS students who sat for the 30th and 2020 edition of BECE for Private and School according to the Ghana Education Service (GES) are expected to report to school today Thursday, March 18, 2021.

Thursday 18th March 2021 school reopening date comes after the Ghana Education Service (GES) postponed the earlier communicated March 10, 2021 reporting date indicated on the school placement enrollment form.

According to GES, it scheduled for the 4th batch of the Free SHS students to report to school today to enable Management of schools prepare to welcome them and also for the students to prepare for academic activities.

The spokeswoman for Ghana Education Service (GES), Cassandra Twum Ampofo in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh said intensive academic activities will commence from Monday, March 22, 2021.

“Even though the SHS 1 will report to their respective Senior High Schools (SHS) from 18th March but we have scheduled for them to begin academic work from Monday, March 22,” the Public Relations Officer for GES stated.

Director-General of GES, Professor Kwasi-Opoku Amankwa in an interview with Peace 104.3 FM monitored by Educationweb.com.gh disclosed plans are underway for schools to publish their prospectus online amid covid-19.
