Former NUGS President, Hon. Frank Annoh-Dompreh has been acknowledged by the leadership of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) led by Emmanuel Yiadom for supporting education in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Constituency.
The Union honoured his support for education in the Nsawam Adoagyiri through the facilitation of scholarships, provision of laptops for both teachers and students, learning equipment (ie Calculators, Handbooks and Exercise Books) and free tuition to support hundreds of WASSCE candidates.
The Majority Chief Whip of Parliament speaking to the leadership of the Students Union made a commitment to aid the refurbishment of the Unions Secretariat as well as the administration’s vision to rebuild a strong alumni network.
The Nsawam Adoagyiri Member of Parliament, Hon. Frank Annoh-Dompreh also promised to help promote the cooperate image of the Union by leveraging on the influence of its alumni.
According to Mr Annoh-Dompreh, his educational intervention forms part of efforts to promote the Nana Akufo-Addo government Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy introduced in late 2018.
