The Ghana Education Service (GES) says graduates with degrees in Computer Science or Information and Technology from Monday, August 16, 2021, to September 3, 2021, can submit applications to be employed as IT coordinators.
In a statement copied to EducationWeb.com.gh, the Service said “applications from qualified graduates with information and Technology or computer science background for recruitment as IT coordinators.”
Interested and qualified unemployed graduates the Management of the Education Service said are to send their curriculum vitae (CV) and other relevant documents to email@example.com before September 3, 2021.
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for recruitment;
1. Completed and acquired a degree in Information Technology or computer science.
2.Must be a critical thinker and problem solver with great attention to details
3. Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
4. Solid knowledge of systems and applications
5. Available to work where ever services are needed
The graduate’s recruitment comes after the Ministry of Finance announced the Ghana Education Service (GES) has been granted financial clearance to employ over 500 ICT coordinators for into Service this academic year.
“The GES is to ensure that the ICT coordinators have their documents processed in time and placed on the mechanized payroll early enough to enable the Accountant-General’s Department effect payment.”
