The Management of the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) following the upcoming release of the school postings of 2021 BECE students has updated the school placement checking procedure.
The update, the Ministry of Education (MoE) agency responsible for the computer school placement has said forms part of measures to ensure a smooth posting of candidates who partook the 31st BECE into various pubic schools.
A source familiar with the soon to be released school placement Sunday told EducationWeb the Management of the School Placement System (CSSPS) has made some changes to the portal for checking the school placement.
“Usually students check their school placement at https://cssps.gov.gh or https://cssps.org but for now CSSPS has deleted the https://cssps.org so candidates will this time use the official https://cssps.gov.gh,” he explained.
The source also said the portal https://cssps.gov.gh/shsheads for heads of public secondary schools to check and print the list students posted to their schools has been replaced with a new website https://hm.cssps.gov.gh/.
Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister for Education in line with the source early March 2022 told an Accra-based Television station the bandwidth for the portal for checking the placement has been increased to avoid downtime.
