President Nana Akufo-Addo Friday, June 25, 2021, sworn in Rev John Ntim Fordjour as the Deputy Minister for Education, Friday, June 25, 2021, sworn him into the office to assist the Minister for Education.
The swearing-in at the Jubilee House comes after the Parliament Appointment Committee unanimously approved the nomination of the Assin South Member of Parliament after vetting him on February 11, 2021.
Hon Ntim John takes over from former Deputy Minister for Education and current Education Minister Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, appointed to serve in President Akufo-Addo second term government.
Posting on social media, the Deputy Minister for Education said “I’m grateful to the Lord Most High for His exceptional favour and His Excellency Akufo-Addo for the confidence reposed in me.”
