President Akufo-Addo after cutting sod for the construction of the J. A Kuffour SHS in 2019 has completed the new public Senior High School which is ready to admit a new batch of Free SHS beneficiaries this year.
A statement from GES shared to Educationweb.com.gh indicated the John Agyekum Kuffour Senior High School will run programmes including Business, General Arts and Home Economics for the new academic year.
J. A Kuffour SHS located in Sokoban in Kumasi of the Ashanti Region according to the Education Service will be featured in the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) as a Day/Boarding school.
“All structures have been put in place for the 2020/2021 placement. We would therefore be grateful if the school is added to the public system as Day/Boarding school,” the Service stated in the release.
The completion of the Kumasi-based J. A Kuffour SHS now increases Senior High and Technical & Vocational schools in Ghana from 721 to 722.
