WhatsApp owned Facebook, following the recent interactions on the Facebook page of the soon to be Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has granted him a blue tick badge as a verified Facebook user.
The Member of Parliament for the Bosomtwe Constituency in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh announcing his approval as a verified Facebook user said Ghanaians should look out for the blue tick by his name.
“Please be notified that formally my official Facebook page, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has been verified. Look out for the blue tick by my name. This is my only official Facebook page,” an excerpt of the statement stated.
According to the Education Minister-designate, his verified Facebook account will only be used for official communication and engagement with constituents and the members of the general public at large.
The teaching Minister further stated that on no account will he use his Facebook Page or any other social media handle to solicit funds, hence the public are to disregard any other account bearing his name for that act.
The Educationist in line of the above has urged the general public to report any fake or suspicious pages, activities in his name to the Management of Facebook Inc, and also to his official website www.yawoseiadutwum.com.
