The Minister in charge of Ghana’s Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has visited the United Arab of Emirates (UAE) Education Minister, Hussein Ibrahim Al Hammadi to discuss how STEM education can be improved in both countries.
Dr Adutwum in a post sighted by EducationWeb.com.gh said the courtesy call UEW Minister for Education form part of his effort to improve and strengthen Ghana’s education system by learning from international best practices.
“The visit was on how both countries can collaborate and adopt the best international learning practices in the areas of education, technology, school leadership, accountability and STEM education that will positively transform both economies,” he stated.
According to the Bosomtwe Member of Parliament, the meeting with the Emirates Education Minister was facilitated by the Director for Sustainability Engineering Expert for Development (SEED), Dr Hind Gerge Abou Nassi.
SEED he said is an Education consultancy, training and Management company registered in Dubai.
Ghana’s Minister for Education in his 3 days working visit to the United Arab of Emirates (UAE), Dubai was accompanied by the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Prof Kwasi-Opoku Amankwa and others.
