The Accra-based Achimota School which denied two Rastafarian students admission amid their long hair on March 19 has wished Muslim students on campus who will soon end the holy Ramadan fasting a Jummah Mubarak.
Posting on social media, Motown said “Jummah Mubarak to our Achimota Muslim Students Association and our sisters and brothers of the wider community.”
“With only a week left in the sacred month of Ramadan, it is common to start feeling a bit worn out at this juncture. We encourage you to stay motivated to end strongly,” the School encouraged the Muslims.

In a related development, the Government of Ghana (GoG) has declared Thursday, May 13, 2021, as a statutory public holiday to mark Eid-ul-Fitr.
